Description

Padre Pio is a man of prayer. He suffered from poor health and offered his bodily sufferings to God as a sacrifice, for the conversion of souls. In 1918, Padre Pio was kneeling in front of a large crucifix when he received the visible marks of the crucifixion, making him the first stigmatized priest in the history of Church. Because of this, Padre Pio typically wore gloves on his hands as evident in this image. In one of the largest liturgies in the Vatican’s history, Pope St. John Paul II canonized Padre Pio on June 16, 2002. His feast day is celebrated on September 23. This image of Padre Pio is printed upon prayer cards which can be personalized for any occasion. These beautiful prayer cards are ready for you to custom print with your own prayer on the back.
